Why Choose Me?

I decided to become a counselor more than 8 years ago when I witnessed a friend-of-a-friend who was in a dark place. I wanted to help individuals like him.

Since then, I obtained my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. I started working on research trials, and I also served as an ADHD coach.

I came to Colorado to get my Master’s degree. Since graduating, I obtained my Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). I did my internship at a clinic called Wholeness Center, focused on integrative mental health care. I’ve also worked in an outpatient setting at a group clinic called Inner Life Adventures.

I approach my work through a spiritual framework. I have a very professional approach to my work, while also holding the reality of a greater spiritual truth. I do not impose my views on any of my clients, but I do work well with people who are looking for professional counseling from an individual who also has a spiritual worldview.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I know if I’m a good fit?

I offer free intro calls to everybody! I am happy to take 15-minutes or more to do a one-on-one call. If you prefer, you are also welcome to come to my office to meet me at no charge.

I want to make sure that we are a good fit before we get started. If we do feel like a good fit, we will schedule an initial visit where I can learn more about you.

If you are a not a good fit for my practice, I also run a community of mental health providers, so I am happy to give you a referral to a better suited provider!

What are your specialities?

I specialize in working with people who want a spiritual approach to counseling. Additionally, I am informed by my background in psychedelic-therapy and can help with those experiences.

How much does therapy cost?

I charge $125 per therapy session. I also offer a “sliding scale” if finances are a struggle for you!

I also can accept the following insurance through a partnership with Mindful Therapy Group: Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare.

I am happy to provide superbills so that you can submit those to insurance and get reimbursed.

I also offer a guide on how to submit superbills and I am happy to assist with that process!

I need therapy, but I can’t afford your rates. Do you offer a sliding scale, or cheaper fees?

Yes, absolutely. I recognize that accessibility is a big issue, and that not everyone who needs it can afford to pay my cash pay rates for every session.

I keep a limited number of sliding scale slots available. This is a reduced session fee. Please reach out if finances are a concern for you!

Do you take insurance?

I accept multiple insurance through a partnership with Mindful Therapy Group, including Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Please reach out to me to confirm your benefits.

If I don’t take your insurance directly, I am happy to generate a superbill for you. This is something that you submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

I am happy to provide with a guide to navigating that process, and to answer any questions that you have.
